Our Mission

     Through creativity, discovery and pure fun, Fiddlehead provides access to quality enrichment programs, helping us each to grow in art, science and cultural exploration.

Snow Days

  • Whenever MSAD#15/RSU 15 (GRAY/NEW GLOUCESTER) schools are cancelled due to snow, Fiddlehead will also be closed.
  • If school does take session but children are released early due to snow, Fiddlehead will be closed.  PLEASE have plan B in place for your children to go to.

Please understand the reason for this is due to safety issues. Should power ever go out Fiddlehead would not have running water, heat, or electricity which becomes immediate safety concern for all staff and children on the premises.

Winter Session Rules

To ensure the safety of all our kiddos during the winter months it is mandatory that each child coming into Fiddlhead have appropriate gear to play outside. Because we don’t have a large amount of staff we are not always able to accommodate a large group both in and outdoors. Appropriate gear includes the following:

  • Boots
  • Mittens/gloves
  • Hats or ear warmers
  • Winter coat
  • Snow pants.

Any child that does not have the above will not be allowed to play outside with their friends. Please help us to help keep your kiddos safe, warm and happy!
