The popular pint-sized, pin-striped classic leaps off the silver screen and onto the stage. Like the film, this wild and wacky musical includes a child’s dream come true: a classic pie fight fought with “splurge blasters” which spew forth “silly string” instead of pies!

Honk! Junior
Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling” Honk! Junior is a contemporary
retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story, “The Ugly Duckling”
and features a Joseph... Dream Coat-like score that kids everywhere will enjoy. Honk! - the perfect Broadway Junior musical!

Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids
The jungle is jumpin’ with jazz in this exciting Disney classic! Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie and the gang as they swing their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan. Specially adapted from the beloved film, this musical includes all your favorite Disney tunes, like “The Bare Necessities,”
and “I Wan’na Be Like You.” With colorful characters and that toe-tapping jungle rhythm, The Jungle Book KIDS is a favorite for all ages.

 

Summer Programs
July 6 -10
9-11:30 a.m. Wizardry of Chemistry
An introduction to chemistry. Students will conduct experiments to make jello, playdough, bubbles, crystals and seed candy. Crafts will include colored sand, finger painting, sugar cube crystals and more!
12:30-3 p.m. Construction & Mechanical Engineering
By using hands on manipulatives, kids will have the opportunity to explore and build things that will engage children in the learning process without even knowing it!
July 13-17
9a.m. - 3p.m. Cartooning - Full Day FULL
Join Jay Piscopo, Author & Illustrator of Captain Eli Comic Book series. Jay will spend the week with the kids helping them develop their own characters and comic book. This is an amazing opportunity to have Jay join us for the week and then we will present on Friday the works of all of the students in an exhibit. See below.
July 20 -24
9a.m. - 3p.m. Robotics Camp - Full Day FULL
Students will become familiar with building and programming robots capable of performing predefined tasks. Class utilizes Lego® Mindstorms Team Challenge Sets.
July 27- 31
9-11:30 a.m. Adobe Photoshop & Digital Photography
Students explore the Adobe program’s powerful painting, color correction, filter, and collage capabilities while incorporating digital photography skills.
12:30-3 p.m. Claymation
Make an animated movie! Design & develop characters to go with your skit and bring your story to life using “stop motion animation” techniques. Students will receive a class DVD.
August 3 -7
9-11:30 a.m. Technology & Video Game Creator
From i-movie to garage band, students will develop their projects and will have access to a technician to help work through any challenges. This is NOT a class to surf the net - it is a project specific class with an end result.
12:30-3 p.m. Claymation
In the afternoon, students will use Stage Cast Creator to develop their own video games complete with graphics! Students will receive a class DVD.
August 10- 14
9-11:30 a.m. Clay Camp
From clay to painting to collage, come and explore all of the art forms in this summer camp that is open to all possibilities inside and outside. Don’t forget to bring your smock or old clothes!
12:30-3 p.m. Big Messy Art!

August 17- 21
9-11:30 a.m. Clay Camp FULL
Learn the basics in both hand building and wheel throwing. Students will create unique clay projects, glaze and paint them. They will be kiln fired for students to take home.
12:30-3 p.m. Graffiti Art
In the afternoon, kids will explore famous graffiti artists and create their own backyard mural.
August 24- 28
