In and Out of the Garden
It’s time to plant and grow, paint and sow, and for picnics to go! We will plant, dig, paint, make pots, cook , sing , and celebrate the growing season in Maine . We’ll even visit a local farm or garden! |

On the Wild Side - An Animal Adventure
Who are your favorite wild animals? Where do they live? Through stories songs, and art we’ll learn about creatures large and small. We’ll make masks, clay critters and more! |

| July 20 -24 |
Everyone Can Build FULL
Castles and caves, fairy houses and forts, gnome homes and bird houses - gather some supplies and start to build! We’ll build structures
that we can walk through , models to take home, and more by using blocks, cardboard , sticks, cloth, recycled materials and our imaginations! |

| July 27- 31 |
Eric Carle Art
Through the wonderful illustrations of this author we’ll explore many different stories about animals and people. We’ll investigate the techniques of collage and painting. The children will also create their own books. |

| August 3 -7 |
Storybook Plays
Based on some of children’s favorite stories, we’ll act, sing, and make costumes and scenery, inspiring early literacy through simple theater. |

| August 10- 14 |
Oceans
Maine’s neighbor is an ocean! What is life like under the sea? From whales and crabs to seashells and turtles, we’ll learn about life along the shore and under the waves. |

| August 17- 21 |
Art All Around Us
Everyday we see art all around us -the lines of a spiders web, shapes in architecture, and colors in the garden! We’ll learn about other artists and experiment with different materials to make wall art, prints, sculpture, wearable art - we’ll even create a permanent work of art as a group to be displayed at Fiddlehead Center! |

| August 24- 28 |
The Forest Nearby
Join us as we explore our outdoor space and the trees and plants that grow all around us. We’ll learn about conservation and recycling, and use tree products for our art projects and our snacks. We’ll even take a field trip to the neighborhood forest at LIbby Hill! Each student will get a sapling of their very own to take home and plant. |
