General Information
Fiddlehead Class/Holiday Schedule:
Fiddlehead (FCA) will have classes on one-day holidays,
except Memorial & Labor Days. The vacation schedule
is listed below. Please note that we DO have classes
on school early release and ‘in service’ days.
Vacation Weeks
February 19 - 23 (Mon - Fri)
April 16 - 20 (Mon - Fri)
May 28th Memorial Day
Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy:
FCA cancellations will be listed on local TV channels.
Class Make-up Policy:
- Classes canceled by FCA (usually due to inclement
weather, electrical outages…) have make-up dates
built into the schedule. One make-up per class per session.
- Classes canceled by the instructor (due to illness
or other personal reasons): The instructor will re-schedule
classes, which may be on a different day & time
than the regularly scheduled class.
- Classes canceled or skipped by the student: These
classes/music lessons will not be made up or refunded.
Financial Information
FiddlestARTS and Fiddlehead Unlimited Refund Policy:
- If applicant withdraws less than 60 days from the
first class, or during the school year, the early withdrawal
penalty will be the equivalent of a one month payment
plus the deposit/registration fee. Additional monies
paid will be refunded based on the number of weeks remaining
in the program.
- If applicant withdraws more than 60 days prior to
the first class, all monies paid (except the non-refundable
deposit/registration fee) will be refunded.
General Session Class Refund Policy:
- Class canceled for the session by FCA or if student
notifies FCA of withdrawal 14 days or more before class
start date: 100% refund of tuition & materials fee
is granted.
- Student notifies FCA of withdrawal 13 days or less
before class start date: 75% of tuition and materials
fee is granted as a credit towards a future class.
- Student withdraws on or before the second class date:
50% of tuition only is granted as a credit towards a
future class.
- Student withdraws after second class date: No refund
or credit is granted.
- Classes canceled or skipped by the student: These
classes/music lessons will not be made up or refunded.
Payment Plans
Private Music lessons:
- Full payment due by the first lesson.
- Full year students who pay in advance receive a 10% discount.
- Refund: A two week withdrawl notice is required for all private music lessons. A pro-rated refund will be issued for all but 2 weeks after notification.
