Fiddlehead Youth Rock Band

9am - 3pm fee: $275/week
Open to musicians who are between the ages of
12 - 17 as of July 1, 2008.
Rock band camp is an energetic, hands-on experience for those
who want to learn what it’s like to be in a rock band.
Campers will work with the instruments that make rock music
unique (keyboard, guitar, percussion) while they explore
the dynamics and thrill of being in a band. Instruction is
geared toward intermediate ability level. Start playing music
on the first day, and by the end of the week you will be
rocking out in a live performance! Space is limited to 16
students.

Social Skill Development
July 7 - 11, 2008
Elementary Program
For children aged 6-11 years.
$400 per person
Campers are given many opportunities to practice their social
skills during structured lessons and other art/theater activities.
Counselors use a combination of visual structure and behavioral
strategies to help campers experience success during camp activities. A
different social skill is presented each day. Examples of daily
social skills are: greetings, compliments, emotions,
appropriate play, and choosing a topic for a conversation.

print making, paper mache and more! This class can be taken in conjuction with
the Fairy House camp for a

Students will use their imaginations to
design and create a collaborative Fairy House in our backyard and the
opportunity to create their own portable house of recycled materials.

Wizardry of Chemistry

Students will be inspired by the nature of the Maine Wildlife
Park in Gray during daily visits to produce color studies.
